FOUNDERS TECHNOLOGY COMPANY FIGHT

The new company was doing well, very well. Everyone seemed to want to share in its success. One founder felt it was a good idea to attract new investors and extend the product range and also wanted to cash in, while the other founder wanted to grow naturally and focus on one product.

Very quickly after founding the company, the turnover grew and the company could barely meet the demand. One founder felt it was a good idea to attract new investors and extend the product range and also wanted to cash in, while the other founder wanted to grow naturally and focus on one product.

The situation blew up when one of the founders registered all the brand and domain names under their own private company instead of the joint operating company, while the other founder had thought up the name of the most successful product. A huge fight ensued. Luckily the fight was settled out of court in the end - as much as it was possible to do so - and an agreement was reached to the satisfaction of both founders.
