Maarten Leopold


Maarten Leopold specializes in music and media law and has been working as a lawyer in Amsterdam since 1993.

He provides legal services for well-known artists, actors, producers, DJs, labels, publishers and various other creative companies. He helps his clients by advising them, drawing up and negotiating contracts and, in extreme cases, preparing legal procedures.

Over the years his practice has become increasingly internationally oriented. Maarten has built up an extensive network in the international music and event industry in which he has acquired much experience
since 1995.

Maarten is member of the International Association Entertainment Lawyers (IAEL) and the Association For Electronic Music (AFEM).

Maarten is recognized in the Legal 500 guide for Industry Focus: Media and entertainment as ‘a music, media and events rights specialist’.

Quirijn Meijnen


Quirijn Meijnen has been working as a specialized IP lawyer since 2002.

His clients include technological products makers, media companies, furniture manufacturers, Internet companies and artists / designers among others.

Quirijn has special expertise in the fields of copyright, trademark law, art & fake art, illegal publications, innovative technology / software driven products and disputes pertaining to IP law and corporate law.

Quirijn lectures on copyright for architects at the Academie van Bouwkunst in Amsterdam.

He is a member of the Dutch Assocation for Copyright Law (VvA), de Dutch Association for Intellectual Property (VIE) and the Dutch Assocation for Intellectual Property Litigators (VIEPA).

Quirijn is acknowledged in the Legal 500 for Industry Focus: Media and entertainment for his focus on ‘electronics and media industries’.

   

Olivier Oosterbaan


Olivier Oosterbaan has been a lawyer since 2002. He advises companies, from start-ups to large corporations, in the video games, ad-tech and SaaS industries about IP rights, contracts and privacy.

Olivier studied and worked in the United States, Germany, Belgium and France, and his international network is of considerable use to his clients.

To share his knowledge of and experience in the video games industry, Olivier published the book Games: recht en business (Games: Law and Business).

Olivier is a member of the international Video Games Bar Assocation (VGBA), the speciality bar organization Association of Privacy Law Lawyers (VPR-A), the Dutch Assocation for Privacy Law (VPR) and the Dutch Association for Information Technology and Law (NVvIR).

Olivier is mentioned in the Legal 500 guide for Industry Focus: Media and entertainment as ‘a creative problem solver and a joy to work with’.
